(Texas DFPS, 2013) This training will allow the caregiver to make decisions for children in care re: social activities lasting 1 or more days, sign permission slips, and in general provide typical childhood experiences that have been denied to children in care in the past.

*In September 2014, Congress passed the “Prevent Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families” Act, P.L. 113-183. This is a Federal Law and all Licensed Foster Parents were required to participate in this training by 6/01/2016. No credit will be given after this date.
