HRT’s Northern Arizona office is located in Flagstaff, AZ. From there HRT provides foster care and adoption services to the following counties:

Western Arizona
HRT’s Western Arizona office is located in Lake Havasu City, AZ with additional staff located in Kingman AZ. From there HRT provides foster and adoption services to the following counties:
- La Paz
- Mohave
- Yuma

Juvenile Court Program
HRT’s Juvenile Court program (JPO) provides foster homes for youth on probation with the Juvenile Court. These children have been involved with the court system and are currently on probation.
No, these children do not have violent offenses but may have run away, been involved in property damage, substance abuse or some form of theft offense. HRT does not accept Juvenile Court children who cannot live in the community.
These children range in ages from 10 to 18, but the majority of children are 13 to 16 years of age.
Foster Parents in our JPO program are reimbursed at a slightly higher rate than regular foster care. JPO children are eligible for medical benefits the same as other foster children. In addition to the HRT worker these children have a Probation Officer who supervises their case and makes sure they complete their probation.
Yes, you will follow the same process as regular foster parents and be licensed as a Professional Foster Parent. You must also complete training in Crisis Prevention Intervention. See Be A Foster Parent.
