August 23, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Up to 80% of Arizona’s children in foster care were removed due to neglect. Neglect can lead to under-development of critical areas of the brain that allow humans to self-regulate and appropriately tolerate and respond to touch or sounds. In this class we’ll explore what sensory processing or sensory integration problems look and feel like, learn a variety of activities and tools that can be utilized at home to meet the child’s sensory needs and we’ll make a weighted stuffed animal to take home!

Please add $6 per person for supplies for each non HRT Family in addition to the $15 per person and $20 per couple for the training
HRT will pay for 1 sensory tool per HRT family
**Childcare is not provided for this training and children are not permitted to attend**
