This training provides information regarding the required timelines to access behavioral and urgent health services, requires a placement packet, protects caregivers against charges from the Department of Child Safety due to their children’s mental illness and it provides Out of Home request timelines. Participants will also learn how to get involved as a private citizen to effectively advocate for vulnerable children and families, effectively communicate with state legislators, influence positive change and ensure their voice is heard.
Childcare is not provided for this training and children are not able to attend.
